PRESIDENT AND BUSINESS AGENT

David McClure has been a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 1300 for over14 years and is serving his second term as President/Business Agent. His responsibilities include mandating the business concerns of ATU Local 1300 members, making sure that the MTA abides by the collective bargaining agreement. Prior to becoming President/Business Agent, Mr. McClure has held other positions at the ATU Local 1300 as well as positions within the MTA which have included:

• Part Time Bus Operator
• Full Time Bus Operator
• Shop Steward
• Executive Board Member-Transportation
• President/Business Agent

David McClure is very involved with the greater Baltimore community.  He currently sits on the following Boards:

• Vice President of the AFL-CIO, MD State and DC/Feds
• Executive Board Member-Baltimore Metropolitan Council
• Executive Board Member-AFL-CIO Community Service
• Board Member for the (CMTA)-Central Maryland Transportation Alliance
• Red Line
• Advisory Council Member-to the State of Maryland Attorney General
• Advisory Council Member-to the State of Maryland Comptroller
